Senior Behavioral Health is a short-term acute care program for seniors who are experiencing challenges related to emotional or behavioral health needs.

These challenges are often associated with:

• Depression
• Grief
• Anxiety
• Dementia-related issues
• Other mental health diagnosis

Short-term rehabilitation in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) is different from long-term care centers or assisted living communities. It is a temporary place to rehab and recover. The typical skilled nursing facility stay is 14–21 days. See more here.
