It’s not a mission statement, it’s been our mission since 1990.
To know the needs of our residents and provide individualized nursing care.
To love our residents with the love of Christ.
To serve our residents with empathy and gentleness.
Coming Soon: Senior Behavioral Health Hospital
Dear Catholic Care Center Family, Friends, and Guest,
We have just launched an exciting new project at Catholic Care Center, we have begun work on a new Senior Behavioral Health Hospital that is scheduled to open at Catholic Care Center in June 2023. This new hospital will allow us to serve seniors experiencing the effects of Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological issues with the same compassion, dignity, and faith-centered approach that Catholic Care Center has been known for over the past 30 years.
Over the next twelve months we will work to transform our campus with the addition of this hospital in what was previously our Long-Term Care Memory Care (Meadows), we will create a new Long-Term Care Memory Care residence, and we will renovate our short-term skilled nursing unit to a more modern and accessible space.
The renderings below are some of the first glimpses of what these new spaces will look like, we are even more excited to welcome you in to see the reimagined areas once construction is completed and until then we will share this process with you virtually in a series of pictures and updates here on our website.
We ask that you please join us in praying for the completion of this project and that we may be blessed to continue Bishop Gerber’s vision for Catholic Care Center of “showing the world how to care for seniors,” with the addition of this new senior behavioral health hospital.
Catholic Care Center
“We cannot care for all the seniors of the world, but we can show the world how to care for all seniors.”
The Catholic Care Center Difference
Expert Services. Compassionate Care.
We believe that truly caring for someone should go beyond providing physical care. Throughout the past 30 years, we have dedicated ourselves to providing holistic care that encompasses the whole person and enriches them spiritually, emotionally and physically.
We’re a leader in not-for-profit retirement living and healthcare, but we don’t view ourselves as a business. We’re a ministry. Our compassion and care extend beyond our residents’ conditions and religious affiliation. We are all God’s children and our care reflects that.
A Calling to Care
We respect and honor the dignity of all residents by providing a range of competent, professional and spiritually nourishing healthcare and supportive services.
Located on our campus, Shepherd’s Crossing is our independent-living community that offers residents maintenance-free living plus the privacy and comfort of living in their own home.
Our skilling nursing extends the patient recovery process under the care of highly trained nurses and a physician-led team that specializes in recovery.
A community that helps people continue living the life they love. We offer a variety of apartments, restaurant-style dining, weekly housekeeping and laundry, 24/7 access to supportive services, and many wellness-focused activities and events.
A specialized residence for people living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, providing them with the comfort of living in small groups, dedicated caregivers and purposeful programming geared toward their interests and abilities.
A supportive residence where physicians, nurses, therapists and other care team members are available around the clock to provide passionate care to those in need.
Adult Day Program
Our Adult DayProgram allows caregivers a break by offering respite care options seven days a week. Residents and participants of the program benefit from being a part of the outstanding engagement program hosted in Memory Care.
